Integrated Water Management Division (IWM) Activities

IWM Presentations at Midwest Ground Water Conference (October 1-2, 2014)

At the 2014 Midwest Ground Water Conference in Lawrence, Kansas, the Department’s IWM Division gave five presentations to showcase the range of water planning and management activities that IWM is involved in across the state. Because the conference was located in Kansas this year, much of its focus was on the High Plains Aquifer, which underlies a large portion of Nebraska. This focus provided a great opportunity for IWM to highlight some of the ways in which IWM addresses the challenges of managing surface and groundwater supplies in Nebraska.
